Todd County Receives Community Development Block Grant Funding
The Todd County Fiscal Court has been awarded $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the Todd County Health Department Expansion Project. The project will consist of a 3,970 square foot addition to provide space for staff that will allow them to increase productivity, improve service capabilities, and centralize their operations with an opportunity to grow in additional service areas.
The City of Guthrie has been awarded $100,000 in CDBG funds for the Koppers Natural Gas Line Project. The project will construct a natural gas line to Koppers Industries to allow them to convert wood fired boilers to gas fired boilers, resulting in the creation of approximately 5 new jobs.
