2023 Forgotten Angels
District Ombudsman Cindy Tabor is blessed to kick off the 2023 Forgotten Angels project. 400 Angels are in need of adoption. You can adopt by several different methods; you can come by our office and select you angel(s) or call or email Cindy Tabor / Miranda White and we can email or mail them to you per your request. Bless you in advance for your support of this most special project.
Guess what time it is?? It’s time for enjoyment, FUN and the gift giving season!! The Forgotten Angels Project is kicking off its 17th year. We serve residents that live in “Personal Care Homes”. They are usually younger and sometimes suffer with severe mental illness rather than physical limitations. We focus on this group of residents because they seem to be most forgotten by friends, family and society.
You may be asking “How does this work?” We ask residents for one wish, ($25.00 and under) that they want. We place the anonymous Forgotten Angel on the tree and people from the community come to the PADD office and obtain a Forgotten Angel (or several) off the tree. You can also call or email us and we can send angels to you.
The Stocking Stuffer list is on the back of this letter. Most of our residents love snacks. Stocking Stuffers are generally all sorts of snacks, stationary, socks, gloves and personal hygiene items. Many people load a large Christmas bag full of these extra goodies along with the personal wish requested and return it to the PADD office where all the gifts are bagged by PADD staff and volunteers. Some people choose to bring in donations from the list or make monetary donations. We ask that all gifts be returned, unwrapped, to the PADD office, no later than

As the holiday season approaches, we hope that you will help us provide a touch of joy to those in need. It is truly amazing to see how our community gets involved in giving so much to these Forgotten Angels. Each year, as the donations begin to pour in, I am blessed at your generosity. I am very proud to be a part of this community and look forward to serving our Forgotten Angels in 2023 with your help. To adopt an angel or if you have any questions please contact:
