National Senior Center Month
Senior centers are where engagement and innovation take place for older adults in their communities daily. They are vibrant sources of physical and social wellbeing and are essential services for older adults.
Senior centers work with community partners to provide access to health, economic security, social engagement, purpose, creativity, mobility, nutrition—all in a social and fun environment. We want to celebrate all senior centers in the Pennyrile region throughout the month.
