PeADD Spread the Love Campaign

This February, Pennyrile Area Development District is launching the Spread the Love Campaign, an initiative leading up to Valentine’s Day aimed at spreading kindness, generosity, and support throughout our region. As part of this effort, we are hosting a Pet Food Drive to collect donations for homebound seniors who rely on their pets for companionship.
The campaign encourages community members to participate in random acts of kindness, from writing encouraging notes to donating essential pet supplies. The Pet Food Drive, running Monday, February 3rd through Wednesday, February 12th, seeks donations of dry and canned pet food, treats, and other pet necessities to ensure that both seniors and their furry companions are cared for.
Drop-off location: Pennyrile Area Development District – 300 Hammond Drive, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
“This campaign is all about showing love in meaningful ways, whether through small acts of kindness or helping those in need,” said Jill Collins, Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living Director. “Pets provide unconditional love and comfort, especially to our homebound seniors, and we want to ensure they never go without.”
Community members are encouraged to get involved by donating, volunteering, or simply sharing kindness in their daily lives. Together, we can make a difference and spread love throughout our community!
