Older Americans Month 2024

Established in 1963, May is Older Americans Month (OAM)!  The theme for May 2024 is Powered by Connection and focuses on the profound impact that meaningful relationships and social connections have on the health and well-being of older adults.  Those connections help support independence and help to combat isolation and loneliness.  In the Pennyrile region we celebrate OAM with a variety of special activities/events hosted at the senior centers in the Pennyrile Region.  Please contact your local senior center or the Pennyrile ADRC at 1-866-844-4396 for more information.  Please join us in celebrating OAM!
