Pennyrile Area Development District – Cancels Celebration Dinner
The Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD) regretfully announces it has canceled its 52nd Annual Dinner scheduled for September 13, 2021. With the rising number of COVID-19 cases across Kentucky and in the Pennyrile region, we feel it is in the best interest of all citizens to cancel the event at this time.
In the near future, PeADD will unveil the new “John C. Mahre Regionalism Award” which honors individuals, groups of individuals, or entities who have who have shown a passion for regionalism and cooperation.
PeADD is one of fifteen Area Development Districts in Kentucky and is the primary regional planning and development agency for the nine county area of: Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd and Trigg. The 39 member Board of Directors is currently chaired by Judge Perry Newcom, Crittenden County Judge Executive.
