2021 Litter Abatement Grant Program Applications

The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet has announced the application cycle for the 2021 Litter Abatement Grant program to cities and counties. The amount of funding awarded will be determined after November 2, 2020 once all applications have been received. Litter abatement grant funding is to be used for direct expenses, as defined in 401 KAR 49:080 Section 3, incurred during calendar year 2021, associated with anti-litter control programs; for litter cleanup on public roads as provided in KRS 224.43-505; and to meet the requirements established in KRS 224.43-345.
