PADD Receives Citation of Achievement for Fort Campbell Strong Initiative
At the PADD Board of Directors meeting on Monday, December 9, 2019, KY State Representative Thomas Walker presented a Citation of Achievement to PADD Executive Director Jason Vincent on behalf of KY State House Representatives Melinda Gibbons Prunty, Lynn Bechler, Myron Dossett, Larry Elkins, Chris Freeland, Jim Gooch, Jr., Jason Petrie and Walker Thomas. Upon having been named by the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) as the recipient of the prestigious 2019 Aliceann Wohlbruck Impact Award for the Fort Campbell Strong Initiative, the citation recognized the positive impact Pennyrile Area Development District has on the economic vitality and overall quality of life enjoyed by residents of the nine counties and communities it serves. Mr. Vincent humbly accepted expressing his appreciation and recognized Mayor Carter Hendricks (City of Hopkinsville) for his efforts as co-chair.
