The 31st Annual Pride of the Pennyrile Industry Appreciation event was held at Lake Barkley State Resort Park on Thursday, September 26 with 35 companies from our nine county region represented. The event is held to show appreciation for the contributions our businesses and industries have made and continue to make to better our communities and spur growth. Commissioner Donnie Holland, Kentucky State Parks System, and emcee Tim Capps, President, Par 4 Plastics - Marion, welcomed participants who enjoyed lunch, golfing, boating, and dinner. The event is organized through PADD's Economic Development Committee comprised of your local economic development professionals, volunteers and community representatives.
