National Senior Center Month Activities
September is National Senior Center Month.
The Pennyrile Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living in partnership with Pennyrile Allied Community Services invited local legislators and elected officials to serve the congregate lunch at the Christian County Senior Center today.
Those serving lunch today were Representative Walker Thomas, Corey Elder with Congressman James Comers office, Judge Executive Steve Tribble, Magistrate Mark Cansler, PACS Executive Director Harold Monroe and PADD Executive Director Jason Vincent.
The senior centers play a vital role in healthy aging. Senior Centers are more than just a meal.
