COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
The Pennyrile Area Development District is seeking a qualified, motivated, and self starting individual for the professional position of Community Development Specialist. This individual will be responsible for developing and administering economic and community development projects and initiatives in the nine county Pennyrile region and will work closely with cities, counties, special districts, and other agencies on a daily basis. The qualified candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Administration or related field. Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills are a must and the successful candidate must be able to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously. PADD offers an excellent compensation and benefits package and a dynamic work environment. CASE MANAGER
The Pennyrile Area Agency on Aging has a contract opportunity for a case manager in Trigg and Christian County. This position is a Personal Service Contract with the Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD). Duties will include providing assessment/case management services to determine the client’s eligibility for in home services. Provide in home visits every other month. Maintain necessary documentation. Develop plan of care and ensure referrals are made for needed services.
The qualified case manager shall meet one of the following qualifications:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field from an accredited college or university, with:
1. One (1) year experience in health or human services; or
2. The educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or disabilities;
(ii) RN currently licensed as defined in KRS 314.011(10), and has at least two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or disabilities; or
(iii) A Master’s degree, in a health or human services field, from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.
Pre-requisite job training and personal transportation is required by the PADD to carry out contract functions. Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills are a must.

SOCIAL SERVICE CASE MANAGER
The Pennyrile Area Development District/Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living has a part-time case management position available. The position will provide case management and assessment services for various programs serving older adults, caregivers and individuals with disabilities.
Applicant must have one of the following qualifications:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in a health or human services field from an accredited college or university, with:
1. One (1) year experience in health or human services; or
2. The educational or experiential equivalent in the field of aging or disabilities;
(ii) RN currently licensed as defined in KRS 314.011(10), and has at least two (2) years of experience as a professional nurse in the field of aging or disabilities; or
(iii) A Master’s degree, in a health or human services field, from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.
