PADD Board of Directors November 2017 Monthly Meeting
The PADD Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on November 13, 2017 at the PADD Office in Hopkinsville, KY. Guest speaker, Mr. Brian Roy, Executive Director & CEO, Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) shared information about the services KACo provides and his associate, Lonnie Campbell, provided information regarding the KADD Lending Program.
Federal, State and staff reports were also provided. Amy Frogue, PADD Associate Director (CED) and Mayor Carter Hendricks, gave an overview of the Campbell Strong Defense Alliance initiative and the benefits of AUSA membership. Jill Collins, Pennyrile AAAIL Director, provided an update on the state general fund program budget and the Veteran's program. Sheila Clark, West KY Workforce Board Executive Director, shared information regarding a Career Center Services Request for Proposal and a video clip of a KET Forum "Filling Kentucky Jobs" which will air tonight at 8/7 p.m. on KET. The program spotlights Kentucky's need for a well-trained labor force & highlights programs across the state addressing workforce issues. The Board of Directors voted to accept the 2017 CEDs Resolution and the Code of Ethics which will be implemented January 1, 2018.
