Commonwealth of Kentucky Bowl - Hunger Relief Competition
The office of Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, the Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts and the Kentucky Association of Food Banks have joined forces to create a friendly food and fund drive competition among Kentucky’s Area Development Districts to support hunger relief efforts in Kentucky. The competition is October 16 - 20, 2017.
Cheri Farmer, Team Leader for Pennyrile ADD, will work with the two regional food banks that serve the Pennyrile region, Tri-State Food Bank and Feeding America, as well as City and County Local Officials and affiliated organizations to promote both food and fund donations in Caldwell, Christian, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties. Let’s join forces to provide nutritious food to hungry Kentuckians!
