31st Annual Pennyrile Senior Games
The 31st Annual Pennyrile Senior Games will take place from September 18th through September 20th at the Debow Complex. This yearly event is planned by Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation with the assistance of many sponsors in our community. This event allows individuals to be put in brackets by age that are 50 and over to compete in events. This event is not only for fun but it helps promote social interaction and a healthy lifestyle for older adults. Individuals in the Pennyrile region which consist of Christian, Caldwell, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Crittenden, Todd, Hopkins, Trigg, and Livingston counties are all encouraged to attend. Registration information is available in each county. Local senior centers or PADD staff can assist with obtaining and submitting the registrations. Volunteers will also be needed and can be scheduled by contacting Payton Kidd at the PADD office at (270) 886-9484. We look forward to seeing you there!
