Posted on April 11th, 2019

Today, we recognize Mark Hrudicka for the National Volunteer Week Local Volunteer. Mark is a 22 year veteran of the U.S. Army and KY National Guard. Currently he is a senior with the Murray State University Social Work Department and plans to graduate this May. Mark is serving as an intern with the Pennyrile Area Development District, Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living. He currently spends his time with the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program as a Friendly Visitor and provides services to the Home and Community Based Waiver.

Mark is a valuable part of our program and we are grateful to have him as part of our team. Volunteers are the heart of the ombudsman program. If you would like more information on how to become an Ombudsman Advisory Council Member, Friendly Visitor or a Certified Ombudsman please contact Cindy Tabor, Pennyrile District LTC Ombudsman.
