​Career/Success Coach

​Agency is seeking qualified individuals for career/success coaches.  Responsibilities would include assisting individuals with work based learning and potential community engagement activities, data entry of customer information and activity documentation in a statewide customer database.  Knowledge of partnership agencies, including their referral process and intake requirements, is desirable.  Case management experience in workforce or education would be relevant.  Background with customer support and mentoring activities would be helpful.  A successful outcome would lead to self-sufficiency and employment of the individual customer.  Applicant must be willing to travel within the Pennyrile counties.

Veteran Transition Liaison

​The Pennyrile Area Development District (PADD) is seeking a qualified individual for the West Kentucky Workforce Board’s Veteran Transition Liaison.  Responsibilities center on implementing strategies to build and maintain military and community relationships in order to create and supply the talent pipeline for exiting military/veterans to local business/industry employment as well as to post-secondary training.  Coordinates with Solder for Life transition efforts and with USDOL Veteran Programs.  Refers transitioning military and veterans to career services/employment activities/counseling.  Serves as a direct link to fulfill talent needs of business/industries. Tracks individuals and their career activities. Prepares written and oral presentations.  Knowledge of local workforce sectors, business community and workforce system helpful.
