Complete Count Committees are asked to get the word out to "Cooperate with Enumerators." as Census 2010 moves into the next stage of personal visits to capture information for all residents. Hopkinsville's "March To The Mailbox" event, one of several targeting hard-to-count Census tracts in Western Kentucky, was held at the Boys & Girls Club on Saturday, April 10.

A Rally/Block Party type event, with a barbecue meal for volunteers and participants, and Bouncers to entertain the children. Roberto Serrano, the Boys & Girls Club executive director, helped coordinate the event, made possible by a financial donation from the City of Hopkinsville and Chamber of Commerce.
Madisonville and Hopkins County also conducted a March To The Mailbox event that same Saturday morning, attended by several hundred people. |
